We were cut off from outside help for two days
Hey Tom,
It's fun to put all these emergency kits together -- but somehow you never think you will never REALLY need them. All that changed on Friday night. The Fenton, MI tornado hit the ground less than 100 feet from our house. Praise the Lord -- we're all alive. It's as if God put his hand right on our house. The house had minor damage and there wasn't a scratch on the small barn. Everything else all around was a shambles. We were cut off from outside help for two days - there were too many down trees and power lines. We used our kits! Thanks for making everything available!
